Fr. Michael Barry was born and raised in Cork, Ireland and comes to us from San Bernardino, California. He graduated from Catholic University of America and was ordained as a member of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Fr. Michael has taught at and worked tirelessly for the poor, founding “Mary’s Table,” a ministry that feeds the poor and homeless, and “Veronica’s Home of Mercy” for single and unwed mothers. For decades, Fr. Michael has been best known for his healing ministries, especially through Retreats, Healing Masses, Healing the Family Tree, and Spiritual Direction. He feels a special call to the inner healing of the person.

Living as a Monk in Everyday Life: A Benedictine Spirituality Cohort, October 2-8, 2017, Monday 7:30 pm to Sunday 1:30 pm, initial retreat


Explore how Benedictine monastic life can be lived by ordinary people seeking God in their everyday lives. Learn how to integrate monastic prayer, values, and practices into a life outside traditional monastic living.
