Bulletin Announcements

There are many ways to communicate events and activities at St. Pius X. If you would like to promote your event through our parish marketing outlets, such as an announcement in our weekly bulletin, please complete a Bulletin Announcement Request Form and leave it in the parish office or email it to: [email protected].

Bulletin announcements for your activity or event are a service we are happy to provide through the parish office.  If you can follow the guidelines outlined below it will help us maintain the best experience possible for everyone who needs parish marketing support. Thank you! 

• Events to be hosted at St. Pius facilities: prior to making a bulletin or other marketing request, the event needs to first be scheduled on the parish calendar by contacting the parish office at (208) 765-5108 or [email protected]. Once the date/time/location are arranged we'll be happy to work with you on marketing. 
• Deadline for requests:  Mondays by 12:00pm, 13 days in advance of the intended weekend distribution.  This is necessary due to deadlines dictated by printing requirements.  Please indicate what date you desire your announcement to be published at the time of submission; if no date is submitted we'll presume it is for the next available bulletin printing. 
• Format/Sizing: we can accommodate your designs in .JPG, .PNG, or .PDF file formats, in quarter-page (4.25"w x 5.5"h) or full-page (8.5"w x 11"h) sizes. Please indicate which size you desire at the time of submission.
• Quality: Submissions should be proofread in advance, and fully legible at your intended announcement size (e.g. quarter-page or full-page).  Due to the number of requests we receive we will not have time to proofread your announcement on your behalf, so please spend some time looking it over.
• Announcements with no design: if you "don't do graphics" it's completely fine! We can accommodate your text-only announcement by adapting it to a quarter-page sized inclusion in the bulletin, with generic formatting.  Please email us your proofread text announcement, preferred headline/title, & intended publication date by the deadline and we'll get it taken care of for you.  
• Flexibility: Due to space limitations & printing deadlines, accouncements in the bulletin aren't guaranteed.  Priority is given to internal parish announcements over external event announcements, and to those who submit their requests earlier vs. later.  That said, we do our best to accommodate everyone as much as possible with the space and time we have to work with; thank you for understanding as we all try our best to help each other out.

Media Release & Permissions

The Parish of Pope St. Pius X uses photos and videos taken at parish events for promotional or informational purposes to parishioners and the greater community. Media we may use includes the weekly bulletin, the parish website, social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), eMessenger, newsletters, the Idaho Catholic Register, etc.

If you DO NOT want us to use your or your child(ren)’s photo, please let us know by contacting the office at 208-765-5108 or [email protected]. 

NOTE: Parents of children enrolled in our religious education programs receive a form at the time of registration.
