The Knights of Columbus Worldwide
The Knights of Columbus is the largest Catholic fraternal group with nearly 2 million members and 15,000 councils worldwide. Worldwide, over the past decade, Knights and their families have raised more than $1.5 billion dollars and worked more than 690 million volunteer hours.
Our founder, Venerable Servant of God Fr. Michael McGivney, was committed back in 1882 to protecting the livelihood of Catholic families. The Knights continue to provide our members and their families with top-quality life insurance and annuity products. No life insurer in North America has a higher rating than the Knights of Columbus.
The Pope St. Pius X Knights of Columbus Council 11623
The Pope St. Pius X Council 11623 has 122 members. We contribute our time, talent and treasure to the following local causes:
The men’s and women’s retreats, scholarships for high school seniors and Holy Family Catholic School students, seminarians and local vocations, TESH, Idaho Special Olympics, brother Knights and their widows, the Easter egg hunt for parish children, church decorating for Christmas and Easter, the K of C wheelchair program, the annual Right to Life march and Birthright, and our parish priests. And this is to name just a few.
Why should you consider joining us?
Our council meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7pm at Pope St. Pius X.

A THANK YOU FROM THE AMERICAN WHEELCHAIR MISSION & THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS:
A heartfelt thank you for the donations totaling $28,007! This is an amazing outpouring of love and charity on behalf of the incredible parishioners of my home parish. Translated into wheelchairs, this means that our parish is responsible for providing mobility, freedom, dignity and hope to187 of the poorest of God’s children. We conservatively estimate that for each wheelchair we deliver, between family, friends, teachers, employers, and others, about 10 people are impacted. That means that our parishioners have touched the lives of nearly 2,000 people with their charitable and loving gifts. We thank everyone who made this event possible!
Together in Christ,
Dan Moberg, American Wheelchair Mission
