A THANK YOU FROM THE AMERICAN WHEELCHAIR MISSION & THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS:
A heartfelt thank you for the donations totaling $28,007! This is an amazing outpouring of love and charity on behalf of the incredible parishioners of my home parish. Translated into wheelchairs, this means that our parish is responsible for providing mobility, freedom, dignity and hope to 187 of the poorest of God’s children. We conservatively estimate that for each wheelchair we deliver, between family, friends, teachers, employers, and others, about 10 people are impacted. That means that our parishioners have touched the lives of nearly 2,000 people with their charitable and loving gifts. We thank everyone who made this event possible! Here are some pictures from our recent trip to Mexico to deliver wheelchairs. Knights from our Council who made the trip are Fr. Flores, Dan and Don Moberg, Dan Bertuccelli and Tom Tintinger.
